Andrew Nkansah, Co-Founder & Principal

Andrew brings extensive leadership experience from his time as a U.S. Army officer, where he served in a variety of tactical and operational roles. He began his military career in 2015 upon commissioning as a Military Intelligence officer out of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Shortly thereafter, he completed the rigorous selection and training required to serve as an Army Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment.

Within the Regiment, Andrew helped stand up the Regimental Military Intelligence Battalion and subsequently deployed to Afghanistan with 3rd Ranger Battalion. Following his service in special operations, Andrew commanded a 100+ person company at the National Security Agency-Georgia. He helped to sustain mission-critical operations through the COVID-19 pandemic, earning the Meritorious Service Medal for his leadership.

After completing 8 years of active duty military service, Andrew pursued his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. At Stanford, he refined his interest in entrepreneurship, drawing on his background in strategy, operations, and leadership under uncertainty.

Along with his business partner, Andrew is committed to acquiring and growing a high-quality business with a long-term focus on operational excellence, stewardship, and partnership with its people. His approach is grounded in values forged through years of service.

Phillip Dontje, Co-Founder & Principal

Phillip draws on 15 years of leadership experience from his career in the U.S. Army, where he served in a range of intelligence and operational roles. He spent much of his time with the 75th Ranger Regiment, one of the military’s premier special operations units, and was selected to serve as a Targeting Officer — a position focused on translating complex intelligence into mission planning and execution.

During his service, Phillip led teams in high-pressure environments, built training and assessment programs, and worked across organizations to align strategy with operations. He’s known for his measured leadership, attention to systems, and ability to bring structure to ambiguity.

After medically retiring from the Army in 2020, Phillip earned a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Washington Tacoma and is completing his M.S. in Data Analytics at Western Governors University. His academic focus builds on his operational background, with an emphasis on structured thinking and data-informed decision-making.

In tandem with his co-founder, Phillip is focused on identifying and acquiring a high-quality business, with a long-term commitment to excellence, responsible stewardship, and deep partnership with its people. His approach is shaped by years of leading teams, building systems, and working toward meaningful outcomes.
